installazione kernel e compilazione driver dkms
Posted by: julian.delvecchio - 06-20-2021, 03:49 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 3.x Bergamo - No Replies

-----------------------

Today's updates will include a change in the way synaptic installs kernels in the main software section for PCLinuxOS (Bergamo/Mantova versions). If there are any additional kernel drivers such as the nvidia driver or the broadcom driver that needs to be built then it will do it during the synaptic kernel installation phase instead of building them on first boot of the new kernel. Please allow synaptic to complete the transaction. There may be a way to fork the kernel driver build process into a separate window so that synaptic does not appear to be hung up.

  Nuove immagini per la Roma
Posted by: adrianomorselli - 05-11-2021, 02:25 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - Replies (1)

Hello, we have modified the Immagini folder in usr / share / removing the writings as now that we have entered Rome as pretty_name they have become obsolete. We believe we have done something nice, we have also added a greater number of wallpapers, we remind you that they will still be managed by Variety, the icon can be found on the bar at the bottom right.

Thumbs Up Vieste
Posted by: massimo.furini62 - 04-30-2021, 10:11 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Vieste - Replies (12)

Ciao a tutti
Poi, cosa importante, tutto in italiano!

  Sony Vaio VGN-FS315M
Posted by: stefano.turri - 04-30-2021, 10:10 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - Replies (1)

Recensione Installazione Roma

- Intel Petium M740_1.73 GHz (Centrino)
- Ram 2GB
- HDD 80gb interfaccia IDE
- NVIDIA GeForce Go6400

  Pdf editor
Posted by: adrianomorselli - 04-30-2021, 02:33 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - No Replies

This is not a problem related only to Rome's distro but to the whole gnu-linux system. As you know the pdf files are an invention, I would also say well done, of Adobe Acrobat which in its pro version (for a fee) is unsurpassed but no longer available even for a fee on linux, the latest version is from 2013. Now there are several tools in linux that require good knowledge and skills, almost all of them have been built into graphical gui applications to make things easier, but no linux application understands them all. Which is not in itself a problem, instead of having only one application you will have to open your pdf with different applications and make your changes even in several steps. Specifically, and since we have included them in all our distributions, I recommend mainly sam pdf and libreoffice-draw, the first to rotate merge disjoin, the second to modify the text add images or underline.

If your purpose is achieved very well, I might add that there are also some paid applications, eg. master pdf editor and foxit reader, but first try with what you already have.

  Duplica 1.0
Posted by: lillo - 03-24-2021, 11:28 AM - Forum: Duplica Live ISO - Replies (3)

A proposito dell'ultima Vs. creazione: Duplica 1.0... Caspita quanto producete, complimenti.

Ciao

  hp mini 210 solo "Roma"
Posted by: lillo - 02-12-2021, 02:10 AM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - Replies (8)

Ciao

  sistema operativo giusto?
Posted by: lillo - 01-29-2021, 08:00 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - Replies (4)

Buona sera,

Lillo

  Driver ATI/AMD/RADEON
Posted by: stefano.turri - 12-26-2020, 04:29 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Roma - Replies (11)

- Aggiornato i repositories (aggiornamento automatico di sistema) con la possibilità di installare anche driver proprietari;

- Installati i seguenti pacchetti tramite "Gestore Pacchetti" nel menu impostazioni:

  1. firmware-linux
  2. firmware-amd-graphics
  3. firmware-linu-non free
  4. xserver-xorg-video-ati
  5. radeontool
  6. radeotop

Attualmente le modifiche non hanno portato a nessun risultato;

  Calamares issue
Posted by: adrianomorselli - 09-25-2020, 08:32 PM - Forum: Ufficio Zero 2.x Vieste - Replies (2)

https://gitlab.com/Austcool-Walker/Calam..._directory
Alla riga 116 aggiungete splash a quiet ["quiet splash"]
